These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by VCS Driver Training (“VCS”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to customers purchasing driver training packages through our website or directly through our sales team.
By purchasing a training package from VCS Driver Training, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
VCS Driver Training operates as a training coordination service.
We assist customers in arranging HGV driver training through independent DVSA‑approved training providers across the United Kingdom.
VCS Driver Training manages the booking and coordination process, connects customers with suitable training providers and provides guidance throughout the licensing process.
VCS Driver Training does not directly deliver practical driver training unless otherwise stated. All practical training is delivered by third‑party partner training providers.
VCS offers several training packages which may include guidance for provisional licence application, theory test support, CPC support, practical driver training, DVSA practical test booking assistance and training centre placement.
The exact services included are detailed within the package description at the time of purchase.
Customers must hold a valid UK driving licence, meet DVLA medical standards for HGV drivers, provide accurate personal information and comply with all legal requirements for obtaining an HGV licence.
Failure to meet these requirements may result in delays or cancellation of training.
After purchase of a training package VCS will contact the customer to begin the onboarding process. A suitable training centre will be identified and training dates will be arranged subject to availability.
Training dates may vary depending on DVSA test availability, training centre capacity and customer availability. VCS cannot guarantee specific dates until confirmed by the training provider.
Full payment or a deposit may be required before training bookings can be confirmed.
Payment may be made via debit card, credit card, approved finance provider or bank transfer. Where finance is used, the agreement is between the customer and the finance provider.
Refunds are subject to conditions. Customers may request a refund within 14 days of purchase subject to an administration fee (example £295).
Once training dates or tests have been arranged refunds may be reduced to cover booking costs, administrative work and third‑party charges.
No refunds will be provided once training has commenced.
If a customer cancels training more than 14 days before training, a partial refund may apply.
7–14 days before training administration and booking fees may apply.
Less than 7 days before training the course may be non‑refundable.
Training centres may also apply their own cancellation policies.
All practical driver training is delivered by independent training centres.
Training centres are responsible for delivering training, providing instructors, providing training vehicles and arranging DVSA tests where applicable.
VCS is not responsible for the operational actions of training centres.
VCS does not guarantee passing DVSA tests, test availability or job placement.
Success depends on the customer’s ability and preparation. If a student fails a test additional training may be required and retest fees may apply.
The time required to complete an HGV licence can vary depending on DVLA processing times, theory test availability and DVSA practical test waiting lists.
VCS cannot guarantee a fixed completion timeline.
VCS will arrange training with a suitable centre based on location, availability and course type. In some cases training may be arranged outside the customer’s immediate area.
Customers must attend scheduled training sessions, arrive on time, follow instructor guidance and comply with road safety laws.
Failure to attend training may result in loss of fees.
VCS Driver Training shall not be liable for training centre actions, DVSA test cancellations, DVLA delays or customer failure to pass tests.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the training package.
Some packages may include career guidance or job support. VCS does not guarantee employment.
Customer data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
Customer information may be shared with training providers, DVSA and finance providers where necessary to deliver services.
Customers should contact VCS Driver Training directly if they experience any issues. We aim to resolve complaints within 14 working days.
VCS Driver Training reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
